Gioacchino Amato is a business lawyer, Managing Partner and Founder of the Italian law firm Amato Avvocati, with offices in Rome.

He served for 10 years as officer of the Italian Stock Exchange Commission.

He worked in PwC as Head of the Capital Market Team and he was Partner in Deloitte as Head of the Capital Market Practice.

Mr. Amato taught Securities Regulation at University of Florence, Link Campus University and Luiss Guido Carli in Rome.

Mr. Amato works in banking, capital market, corporate law, energy and m&a. He authored many legal essays and regularly attends, as a speaker, at roundtables, seminars, conferences.

Mr. Amato received a Ph.D. at Università La Sapienza in Rome and an LL.M. at UC Berkeley (US)
